Foster The People- Call It What You Want

Jam: Call It What You Want
Good to jam when: Partyin' with yo peeps

I have to start with a true, heartfelt, and deeply rooted apology for my lack of blog posts this past month.  My life has been busy with moving back to school, getting back into the groove of my Lawrence life, and most importantly, partying with my peeps to this song.  So while I apologize for my absence, I can only hope that today's jivin' jam will make up for the obviously anticipated wait.  I'm sure with my delay on featuring these guys that most of you will have probably already heard of them, but if I have the honors of being the first to introduce them to you, then, well, I am delighted.  This LA-based band seems positively incapable of doing wrong on their newly released, energetically fresh and upbeat album, Torches, that was dropped in late May.  While most people know them from their hit, summer sizzlin' single "Pumped Up Kicks," the entire album is undoubtably jammable the whole way through.  Check out the awesome live version of this song here, get your techno-party after-hour jam on with "Miss You," feel good about how you're living your life with "Waste," and just go ahead and treat yourself to thirty-eight minutes of musical delight and purchase the whole thing hurrr.
